CCC Ministries
We’re grateful for those who faithfully use their gifts to keep our church building clean and welcoming. Their service creates a beautiful, inviting space where the Gospel is shared, and hearts are strengthened.
Our audio and visual ministry uses technology to share God's Word and the love of our church both in person and online. By using mixers, microphones, computers, and streaming programs, this dedicated team serves by using their skills to support worship and spread the gospel effectively to all who receive it.
Events are a powerful tool for reaching out to the community and edifying the body of Christ. Every year we have a dedicated team of people willing to plan and execute the events that will connect the hearts of those attending with Jesus. Events take place periodically throughout the year, and the event coordinators organize these events and make them a success.
Roots children are the future of the church. For that reason, Community Christian Church of Chicago invests heavily in our youth ministry. Roots exists to plant the seed of understanding of who God is and the life He desires for His children. The children are taught in a fun and safe environment the truth of God. Roots is open to every middle and high schooler.
Is the ministry aimed at people ages 18 to 30. Fuel addresses the common loss of faith during college by providing reasons behind the Christian worldview and core doctrines, empowering young adults to understand and defend their faith.
The church's landscaping requires year-round maintenance. This ministry ensures accessible grounds and sidewalks by clearing snow in winter, mowing in summer, and tending to the landscaping and prayer garden as needed.
Community Christian Church of Chicago believes that it is to share the gospel in every manner that is consistent with its nature. For this reason, the media ministry consists of those gifted in digital media including social media, website building and maintenance, graphic design, videography, and others. We praise God for those involved in this ministry as they use their talents to share God's love and message with the world.
The church cares deeply about families and children. We believe God made them to enjoy a relationship with Him and to further His purposes through them. The nursery is a ministry that servers several purposes, firstly to show love to the children through lessons, songs, and an environment conducive to spiritual growth and to help create an environment for the parents to grow in Christ during the worship service. This ministry serves children from 1 month to 3 years.
The praise team is composed of those who lead worship through singing and dancing. We understand that music and dance are at the heart of worship and are two of the most impactful ways by which people can show their devotion to the Lord.
This ministry exists to serve the Lord by loving people and helping them feel the love of the community of faith. This goal is achieved as the members of this ministry welcome church guests and serve them to make them feel welcomed and loved.
Watchmen is the men's ministry of our church. It seeks to lead our men toward the fulfillment of God's vision for their lives as they grow in the knowledge of God's word, their mission, the fulfillment of God's vision for their lives, and fellowship.
Our women's ministry is a strong community of women of God who seek to grow together. They gather for a lovely event once a month having special guest speakers, games, and food to enrich their knowledge of the word of God by fellowshipping with one another.
Our men's ministry is a community of fearful men of God who seek to grow together. They gather once a month to study the Bible, pray, and fellowship, with the goal of developing their hearts and minds to be in line with God’s will for their lives.
This ministry seeks to create a foundational knowledge of Christ in the hearts and minds of our children. This ministry takes place Sunday mornings during the worship service and is for children from Pre-K through fifth grade. This allows the children of our congregation to experience a worship service that is geared towards them. It includes songs and a lesson specifically to engage the youth and introduce Jesus.
We thank God for the wonderful opportunity He has given us to be able to serve our community.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
